Across 155 years, Seventh-day Adventists have seen many efforts to weaken the pillars of our faith — a foundation built upon the Holy Scriptures and affirmed in the writings of Ellen G. White. Adventist theology is the flowering of Protestant theology. But today, our commonality with the descendants of Protestantism is less. Many have conceded the protest is over. Adventists say, “No, it’s not!” Go ahead; call us a peculiar people.
